FAKTOR YANG BERHUBUNGAN DENGAN PELAKSANAAN KOMUNIKASI TERAPEUTIK OLEH PERAWAT DI RUMAH SAKIT JIWA PROVINSI SULAWESI TENGGARA TAHUN 2022

Abstrak LatarBelakang: Penanganan pasien tidak hanya berfokus pada teknik pengobatan, tetapi juga komunikasi yang sangat membantu pasien dalam proses penyembuhan atau dapat menumbuhkan rasa percaya diri dan harapan untuk sembuh.Tujuan: Untuk mengetahui faktor apa saja yang berhubungan dengan pelaksanaan komunikasi terapeutik pada perawat di Rumah Sakit Jiwa Provinsi Sulawesi Tenggara Tahun 2022.Metode: Jenis penelitian observasional analitik dengan desain cross sectional. dan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan simple sampling random.Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan antara persepsi (p value = 0,011) dan kecerdasan emosional (p value = 0,023) dengan pelaksanaan komunikasi terapeutik.  sedangkan pengetahuan (p value = 0,290), usia (p value = 0,443), dan tingkat pendidikan (p value = 1,000) tidak berhubungan dengan pelaksanaan komunikasi terapeutik.Kesimpulan: Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan komunikasi terapeutik di Rumah Sakit Jiwa Provinsi Sulawesi Tenggara dipengaruhi oleh faktor persepsi dan kecerdasan emosional. AbstractBackground: Patient care not only focuses on treatment techniques, but also communication that is very helpful for patients in the healing process or can foster self-confidence and hope for recovery.Objectives: The purpose of this study is to find out what factors are related to the implementation of therapeutic communication by nurses at the Mental Hospital of Southeast Sulawesi Province in 2022.Methods: This research method uses analytic observasional research with a cross sectional design and the sampling technique uses simple random sampling.Results:  The results showed that there was a relationship between perception (p value = 0,011) and emotion intelligence (p value = 0,023) with the implementation or therapeutic communication, while knowledge (p value = 0,290), age (p value = 0,443), and education level (p value = 1,000) were not related to the implementation of therapeutic communication.Conclusion: This study shows that the implementation of therapeutic communication in the Southeast Sulawesi Provincial Mental Hospital is influenced by perception and emotional intelligence factors
