Using a sample of two hundred and sixteen (216), respondents were managers of medium sized businesses were selected in Lagos State. The sampling technique that was used is simple sampling technique. The data collected from primary data using questonnaire was analysed using correlation coefficient to test stated hypotheses. Three (3) hypotheses were tested and the alternative hypotheses were accepted. The statistical analysis used in this study revealed that there is a significant relationship between effective management planning and organizational profitability, also there is a significant relationship between strategic management and company market share; and the finding also showed that there is a relationship between effective risk management practices and organizational competitiveness. The study recommends that organizations should take use of technology time savers and use the most appropriate form of technology for your purpose.
