The paper aims to valorize and prioritize the most significant driver behavior criteria related to road safety in Budapest city. The study intended to identify similarities and differences in driver behavior criteria between two groups called as young drivers and senior drivers. Also, the study determined that how self-reported aberrant driving behaviors change across the examined group of drivers. As a methodology, the fuzzy analytic hierarchy process (FAHP) was implemented by using real data where two different stakeholder groups involved. Driver behavior questionnaire (DBQ) was designed by considering the main driver behavior categories (violations, errors and lapses), subcategories and related individual behaviors. The integrated fuzzy analytic hierarchy process method ensures a salutary analysis to endeavor vagueness in comparison within and between criteria.
