This paper establishes the model of echo for ultra-high speed target, and analyzes the effect of the target's high speed on the range profile. High speed motion will make range profile broadening. In order to solve this problem, it proposes a motion compensation method. The method estimates the chirp rate via combines Wigner Ville Distribution (WVD) and Hough Transform (HT), and then make compensation for the motion. The method has good aggregation, low signal-to-noise ratio requirements and high estimation accuracy.
