After 12 years training courses a need has emerged to complement and modernize the interpretation and reporting, also to update what kind of thermal imagers can be used for various applications. Due to the technical progress, performance of devices has improved and image processing softwares have developed. In this paper the new guidelines are introduced, as well some examples of the most common errors of interpretation.
