Digital Educational Resources to Motivate Environmental Education in Rural Schools
In this research work, a software system was developed using the Raspberry Pi hardware as mini-server and with low power consumption. The system allowed a virtual learning through the design and creation of digital educational resources to motivate an environmental education in schools in rural areas where they do not have access to the internet service and it was made in two ways: the first one was creating digital educational resources through the Ardora software, this educational material was exported to the HTML format, then it was uploaded to the repository installed in the mini-server being accessible from any computer, and allowing to store and modify more educational resources for the students; the second way, was creating an educational video game called "Play Eco Ampay" that allows to conscientize the conservation of the environment in the ecological zone of the "Ampay" snow-cap by collecting garbage. The software prototype was tested by 17 classroom teachers of the Integrated Educational Institution "El Carmelo" which has 3 levels and is located in the rural area of Abancay. The results show us the satisfaction of teachers and students in the use of this digital educational resource, being a very fun way through video games to learn to conserve our environment.
