The course was developed during the TEMPUS-JIML project, that involved a consortium of eight international universities, and the course was implemented at Philadelphia University in Jordan. The course material was divided into five parts: Literature review, thesis proposal, modeling and simulation, engineering experiments, and research papers. The material for each part was gathered from many resources and is summarized in this paper.
