Data collection in this school action research was carried out by means of interviews and observations. Interviews using interview guidelines. While the observation uses an observation guide, namely an academic supervision instrument. After the data was collected, it was then processed and analyzed so that it could be concluded that before the first cycle of school action research, the teacher's academic supervision score in class XI averaged 55 and after the action increased to an average of 67 or an increase of 14%. Thus academic supervision in the first cycle can improve the teacher's ability to apply the STAD type cooperative learning method to learning in class XI by 13%. Furthermore, after the second cycle of action, the grade XI social studies teacher's academic supervision score increased from an average of 68 to an average of 92 or an increase of 24%. Thus academic supervision in the second cycle can improve the teacher's ability to apply the STAD type cooperative learning method to learning in class XI of the Assisted School by 24%.\nABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan ingin mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan guru dalam menerapkan metode kooperatif learning tipe STAD pada pembelajaran kelas XI Sekolah Binaan melalui Workshop MGMP. Setelah data terkumpul, selanjutnya diolah dan dianalisis sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa sebelum tindakan siklus pertama penelitian tindakan sekolah, nilai supervisi akademik guru Di kelas XI rata-rata 55 dan setelah tindakan meningkat menjadi rata-rata 67 atau meningkat sebesar 14%. Dengan demikian supervisi akademik pada siklus pertama dapat meningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam menerapkan metode kooperatif learning tipe STAD pada pembelajaran Di kelas XI sebesar 13%. Selanjutnya setelah tindakan siklus kedua nilai supervisi akademik guru IPS kelas XI mengalami peningkatan dari rata-rata 68 menjadi rata-rata 92 atau meningkat sebesar 24%.
