The subject of the considerations is an examination of the verbal fluency of four-year-old children. The article will present the results and analysis of research on semantic verbal fluency in the field of proper names in the given category of names. The test was performed using a minute verbal fluency test. Based on the test results, it is possible to draw conclusions about the quality of linguistic processes, the richness of the lexical dictionary or the level of semantic memory.
