Materials and methods: The theoretical basis for the construction of the questionnaire is the classification of vestibular disorders pro-posed by the Bárány Society. Thirty patients from the Clinic of Vertigo and Balance Disorders at the Institute of Physiology and Pa-thology of Hearing took part in the pilot study, while 81 patients and 56 healthy people were included in the present study. Results: The process of questionnaire construction was multistage and ended with the creation of a brief tool consisting of 12 items relating to the occurrence of vertigo and balance disorders. The questionnaire is characterized by high validity and allows reliable measurement.
