Time Frame Reduction for Maximum Power Point Operation of Wind Turbines
The paper proposes to identify the necessary steps, reflected then in a method, through which the necessary time required to bring the wind turbine to operate in the maximum power point is minimized. For this, in time, several recordings are done, and sizes computed: wind velocity, electric generator power, mechanical angular speed considering, optimum mechanical angular speed–based on the dependence between mechanical angular speed and wind speed. The minimization of the time interval necessary to bring the rpm of the electric generator to the optimal value, is based on the involvement of the maximum value for the electric generator current.
