Novel bandstop filter using dual-U shape defected microstrip structure
This article proposes a new defected microstrip structure (DMS) which is used to design filter is introduced. Its resonant characteristics can be adjusted by changing the dimension of the structure unit. Finally, a novel bandstop filter based on this structure is designed, fabricated and tested. Both simulated and measured results show that the proposed filter has a good performance.
