The Achievable Rate of Distributed MIMO Systems with Mixed-ADC
We study the achievable rate of distributed-MIMO system with mixed-ADC, which means each remote array unit (RAU) can choose high-resolution ADC or 1-bit resolution ADC according to the user distribution in the cell. Differing from many works using AQNM model for signal quantization, we consider a Bussgang decomposition approach in this paper for its capability of providing a more accurate description than AQNM in modeling the quantization procedure. The paper first estimates wireless channels with the help of pilots, then exploits the results foregoing in data transmission phase to get the final result of achievable rate. The Monte-Carlo simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of theory analysis.
