Passive Components Investigation for Series-Connected Current Source Inverters
Recently, a new series-connected current source inverter (SC-CSI) with a switching frequency of 60 Hz was introduced. Compared with the conventional SC-CSI, this one sees lower switching losses and higher dc current utilization. In this paper, its passive components including the dc inductor and the output filter capacitor are investigated. Compared with the conventional SC-CSI, the passive components of the 60-Hz SC-CSI are reduced. Simulated verification is provided.
