In particular, real time digital simulators and emulators are used to develop and test new equipment, instruments and sensors for digitizing the grid and ensuring its integration into the e-distribuzione ecosystem.This paper illustrates the Smart Grid Labs of e-distribuzione, where new infrastructures for remote control, automation and advanced management of the Medium Voltage (MV) and Low Voltage (LV) networks are designed and implemented.
