As the use of data analytics become more common, educators are often required not only to make sense of the analytics, but also make meaning pedagogically to better support the learner and the learning. This paper discusses the conceptualization and implementation of targeted learner support and intervention with the use of learning analytics and data visualization for the adult learner in higher education. The key objective is to leverage on learners’ metrics in a format with visual indicators that give an overview of various aspects of the learning so that higher education institutions can profile their adult learners and anticipate their needs with customized advisories and intervention approaches.
