An analysis of the current state of the problem of the loss of stability of thin-walled shell-type elements in the plasticity region is carried out. A series of numerical experiments was carried out at different angles of rotation of the channel. The problem of forming thin-walled elements of aviation structures is considered. An estimation of the behavior of a sheet blank during the forming process is given. The stress state of the billet in the process of nucleation and development of the corrugation was investigated.
