Design of 2-D linear-phase FIR filters with equiripple magnitude response
In the paper, a new approach for the design of 2-D linear-phase FIR filters with the equiripple magnitude response is proposed. The design problem is solved by means of its transformation into an equivalent nonlinear optimization problem. The proposed approach is used to design filters that have centro-symmetric and quadrantally symmetric magnitude responses. Two design examples are included.
