In order to grasp the lab environmental condition in time, a laboratory video surveillance system based on S3C2410 processor is developed and implemented in this paper. The composition of the video surveillance equipment hardware is the USB camera, streaming media server and WEB servers. USB camera is used as a data collection terminal. The transmission of collection data is through the network to the background, the user at the remote can monitor USB camera to capture the real-time video.
