Data were analyzed using Means, Analysis of Variance and Eta squared.\n\nFindings –– All livelihood subscales were positively impacted (Physical=3.65±0.41, Natural=3.64±0.54, Financial=3.60±0.44, Social=3.58 ±0.39, Human=3.33±1.29 and they all differed significantly(P<0.05). Impact of UPVP on farmers’ livelihood subscales was moderately high. \n\nConclusion & Recommendation –– The study concluded that UPVP can serve as a resilient sector for Nigeria’s economy and sustainable development. Support groups and financial resources can improve farmers' well-being. Physical capital, directly and indirectly, affects the performance of work by farmers and therefore productivity. 摘要
