This article examines the current trend of introducing distance technologies into the educational process. The pros and cons of this trend are determined from the point of view of a philosophical approach. Taking into account the existing philosophical concepts of education, it is possible to analyze the significance of current trends in education. It is concluded that remote technologies have their advantages, but there are more disadvantages.
