Automatic gray level thresholding based on relevant features for subjective decisions
This work searches the relationship between global criteria for automatic image gray level thresholding, and the subjective decision concerning the best image gray level threshold. An approach based on fuzzy membership functions is proposed to confirm this relationship. An efficient uncertainty measure also arose. A set of 100 images was trained and tested, and their results are discussed.
