In this paper simple algorithm is used for finding suitable location of high and medium voltage substation and feeder routing. The main objective of this paper is to find the optimal location of substation considering cost as an objective function. In this work also feeder routing is carried out considering four types of conductors. The optimal location of substation & feeder routing is carried out such that the radiality of the system is maintained. Conductor selection is also performed to further reduce the cost.
