It is applied to voltage source inverters with continuous scheme of digital PWM for control at low/middle fundamental frequencies of adjustable speed drive systems, and changed to a discontinuous scheme of synchronized vector PWM at higher fundamental frequencies of the drive system. Direct synchronized continuous and discontinuous PWM based on algebraic approach
