Under the background of Internet plus era, it is necessary to innovate the path of the development of professional course teachers in higher vocational colleges in order to meet the expectations of various subjects on an academic career. From the perspective of bottom-up vision, this paper proposes a new path for the development of professional course teachers in higher vocational colleges. On the premise of clarifying their orientation of academic career, it is necessary to strengthen their subject consciousness, actively carry out academic teaching and cultivate information-based teaching quality. On this basis, their development puts forward some demands on the system, which requires the government to design the top-level system for the development of teachers of professional courses in higher vocational colleges and formulate development standards.
