The proposed antenna is a microstrip patch antenna operating at 28GHz. The antenna is printed on a RTRogers5880 substrate with thickness of 0.787 mm and 60×100 mm2 overall dimension. Ten elements of microstrip patch antenna are printed at the top edge of the substrate. The antenna array is designed using HFSS software, the simulated results of the array antenna show good performances in terms of S-parameters, gain and efficiency which make it convenient for 5G mobile phone application.
