The approach used in this research is a quantitative-descriptive approach. The study design was a one-group pretest-posttest. The study population consisted of 60 elementary school teachers in Laweyan Subdistrict, Surakarta. The sample used in this study were 10 Dukuhan Kerten SDN teachers and 10 Laweyan SDN Surakarta teachers. Data collection techniques using product tests in the form of the results of scientific articles and how to publish scientific articles. The test data were then analyzed using N-Gain. The research findings state that there is an increase in the competence of writing and publishing scientific articles with, the percentage of indicators of scientific article writing is 0.71 (high), and publication of scientific articles 0.70 (High).
