However, the existing studies did not examine the more personal and subjective views of the participants. Moreover, the previous studies were limited to exploring the solutions to the problems that EFL English majors faced during their learning process. The purpose of the study is to investigate the perceptions of the English-majored juniors at Van Lang University towards the collaborative writing technique. To get optimal results, the third-year English majors at Van Lang University who participated in the Writing 5 course and experienced the collaborative writing method completed the questionnaire and answered the interview questions. The result of the study indicates that the collaborative writing strategy has a positive impact on students' writing outcomes. Also, this study's findings show a high percentage of students gain great satisfaction from the strategy.
