The study of this educational platform aims to familiarize the students with modern automation equipment such as smart relays and programmable logic controllers (PLCs). The first part of the paper, it is described the automation equipment used and the construction of the educational platform in terms of hardware and software. In the second part is described its effective operation and its possibilities.
