Blind signal recovery in multiuser MIMO-OFDM system
A blind signal recovery method for MIMO-OFDM system is proposed. This method is based on an application of existing blind source separation (BSS) algorithms to the detection of the signals in OFDM system with multiple transmit-and-receive antenna, where the transmission can be treated as a set of instantaneous mixtures from the frequency bin (FB) viewpoint. Although the BSS algorithm can successfully separate different user signals at FB level, the permutation indeterminacy nature of BSS algorithm hinder the signal recomposition from the separated signals. A method taking advantage of the statistic characteristics of the transmitted signals is proposed to overcome these obstacles. Also the validity of the proposed method is demonstrated by computer simulations.
