While 2011 edition used paper petitions and processing, 2013 edition made use of Information Technology - on line submission of petitions and online processing. 2015 edition went one step further by Direct Beneficiary Transfer of financial assistance to the petitioner's account using Unique identification number scheme of India -Aadhaar This paper deals with the technological challenges and the impact of the programs - which is a new experience in democratic governance in providing a forum for the masses to directly communicate their grievances to the people in the administration.
