When the input voltage has changed, the frequency changes with a constant turn-off time of transistors to keep the output voltage constant. Based on this idea, a 50 to 100V dc input, 100-120kHz, 400-W, 200-V dc output converter has been built, and a fourier’s mathematical description is exploited to help the design.
