Attributing Sources of Sermons of the Pskov Edition of the Prologue
In the 1980s E. Fet discovered the Pskov edition of the Prologue, dating back to the middle of the 15th century and preserved in the copies of the autumn-winter half-year. The researcher noticed its unusual didactic section, containing newly included readings. This article discusses the sources of individual (not typical for other editions of the Prologue) sermons of the Pskov edition for September — November. Research has found that the closest source of the main part of borrowings is the Saratov edition of Zlatostruy (Chrysorrhoas Collection) known in the copy of the end of the 15th century. The body of this article provides arguments in favour of working with this source as well as information on the use of some other reading collections. The annex contains lists of identified sermons.
