In these events, transit centers that act as bridges are more affected. In this context, Turkey suffers a lot from the events that may occur depending on its location. The Turks came to Anatolia in 1071, settled in these lands, and established politically powerful, ancient, virtuous states and empires. Geographical location and natural-human characteristics are at the forefront of the important factors that affect the establishment and development of states. Turkey, due to its strategic location, is a country that is affected by all the events that occur in its near and far regions, in addition it is a country that intervenes in the events as an important actor. Due to its location on important international transportation routes, Turkey connects the surrounding countries and forms the main axis of Asia and Europe, as it is at the meeting point of all roads. Due to this feature, Turkey has become one of the important centers of both international trade and global security. The best examples of this can be seen from the wars and events that occurred in the Balkans, the Caucasus and the Middle East. Turkey’s role draws attention in mediation efforts and food supply during the Russia-Ukraine War as well. The importance of Turkey's location; It has clearly emerged in the Crusades, Ottoman Period; 1st World, Independence and 2nd World Wars.
