To this kind of technologies, authors include technologies controlled by a computer and based on microelectronics, microelectronics. In engineering activities, the digital filler of each engineering system becomes dominant. This also applies to management in the transport complex. Therefore, management practices for the introduction of advanced production processes will, of necessity, be further associated with mechanisms for changing approaches towards combining engineering activities with digital support. An analysis of the practice of managing the implementation of advanced production processes in an objective sense was made based on official statistics, and a subjective opinion was presented on the basis of an expert survey \" Innovative activity of the technical intelligentsia \", conducted by the authors of the article in 2019 (N=51). The authors of the article associate management trends for the successful implementation of advanced manufacturing technologies with graduates of technical universities, since they are much better adapted to digital devices.
