In the past research, spectral method (SM) and modified moving average (MMA) are the main detection algorithms. TWA is a very weak signal and its detection is very difficult, especially in ambulatory electrocardiogram (AECG). In this paper, the strength and weakness are discussed firstly. Then based on MMA, a new detection algorithm is proposed. Only S-T-P sections are clustered to create odd and even complexes. The Euclidean distance between two complexes is considered as the matric of TWA level.
