SLOTS in microstrip patch antenna “qualified devices”
This article describes an accentuated investigation about applications of slots in patch of microstrip antennas. Many antennas, with or without slots, were simulated, constructed, measured and analyzed. Specifications with different slots models as horizontals, verticals and angular were used. Different resonant frequencies and bandwidths are shown through graphics, as well as the comparison between proposed antennas demonstrate that slots are qualified devices.
