Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode eksperimen kuasi. Desain penelitian terdapat dua kelas yaitu kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Rancangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pretest dan posttest group. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara, tes, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data antara lain: uji prasyarat, analisis karakter, analisis keterlaksanaan pembelajaran, analisis keterampilan generik sains, uji hipotesis, uji keefektifan Indikator keefektifan yaitu keefektifan proses, waktu, dan hasil. Keefektifan proses berkategori sangat baik dengan rata-rata 97% kelas eksperimen dan 92 % kelas kontrol. Keefektifan waktu berkategori sangat baik. Keefektifan hasil n-gain kelas eksperimen keterampilan generik sains berkategori tinggi dengan skor 0,73 dan karakter berkategori tinggi dengan skor 0,76. Kelas kontrol keterampilan generik sains berkategori rendah dengan skor 0,10 dan karakter berkategori sedang dengan skor 0,49.Abstract: This study aims to determine the effectiveness of learning using Authentic Assessment Based on Generic Skills of Integrated Science Character in Grade III Elementary School Theme 6 Energy and Its Changes at SD Muhammadiyah Bayan. The type of research used is quantitative research using quasi-experimental methods. The research design consisted of two classes, namely the experimental class and the control class. The design used in this study was a pretest and posttest group. Data collection techniques using the methods of observation, interviews, tests, and documentation. Data analysis techniques include: prerequisite test, character analysis, learning implementation analysis, science generic skills analysis, hypothesis testing, effectiveness test. Effectiveness indicators are the effectiveness of the process, time, and results. The effectiveness of the process is categorized as very good with an average of 97% of the experimental class and 92% of the control class. The time effectiveness is categorized as very good.
