The study shows that leader’s emotional intelligence, leader--member exchange and team psychological safety have significant positive impacts on team innovation performance. Meanwhile, leader-member exchange and team psychological safety have partial mediating effects on the relationship between leader’s emotional intelligence and team innovation performance. Several methods are suggested to enhance the team innovation performance.
