A study on the export suspension factors of Korean export companies

Purpose : The purpose of this study was to derive export suspension factors and examine their influence on corporate characteristics. Research design, data and methodology : For the empirical analysis, 140 responses were used. In addition, regression analysis was conducted for hypothesis verification, and the statistical program SPSS 21 was used. Results : Factors that prevent Korean exporters from exporting were identified as market, funding, and regulatory factors. Among these factors, it was analyzed that the growth stage of the company has an influence on the financial factors and regulatory factors, and in relation to the characteristics of the company, the types of products handled affected the regulatory factors. Conclusions : In the end, it can be explained that among the government's export support policies, corporate consulting and cost support for acquiring overseas certifications are necessary.
