In this article a literature review is conducted - based on more than 50 reviewed articles on simulation techniques in the context of reverse logistics. A classification of reverse supply chain problems that apply simulation techniques is proposed. Perusal of the literature shows that research in the field of reverse logistics and simulation has not been reviewed extensively.
