False Recapitulation: Considerations Regarding the History of the Term and the Method

В отечественном музыкознании словосочетание «ложная реприза» давно функционирует как термин. Художественный прием, который он собой обозначает, имеет ряд устойчивых признаков, хотя акценты в его описании у исследователей могут ставиться по-разному. В зарубежном музыкознании (например, в немецком) картина не столь ясна. И дело не только в отсутствии единого общепринятого термина для обозначения этого явления, но и в том, что само оно трактуется более широко и место его дислокации в музыкальном произведении может оказаться на значительном удалении от начала настоящей репризы. In Russian musicology the word combination “false recapitulation” has long been functioning as a term. The artistic device which is denoted by the term has a number of sustainable features, though scholars may give a different emphasis to the term in describing and interpreting it. In foreign musicology (German, for instance) the picture may not be that clear. The reason for it is not just the absence of a single generally accepted term to denote this phenomenon, but also in the more comprehensive interpretation of the phenomenon and the place for its location in musical work which might happen to be rather distanced from the starting point of the actual recapitulation.
