Ideologi Feminisme dalam Kaba Cindua Mato

Verbal literature becomes one of the national cultural heritages that have worthy  values and it still plays a role in people's lives, especially among the youth. As a social product, verbal literature is a reflection of the cultural ideology associated with systems of thought, belief; symbols related to actions prevailed in society. The purpose of the research is to reveal the feminist ideology of Bundo Kanduang in Kaba Cindua Mato. Libarary research was employed where the data taken from document of Kaba Cindua Mato. It was analysis using content analysis.  The finding of the research showed that Kaba Cindua Mato represented the role of Minangkabau women. Bundo Kanduang portrays as a woman who is gentle, authoritative, and has a power ideology as aleader in a territory of power. For Minangkabau people, the women play special roles in the domestic and in the local wisdom.
