The author of the article refers to the history of the formation of the Nenets language. The data of the all-Russian population census for 2002 and 2010 are presented for a comparative analysis of the deterioration of the situation in the language environment of the NAO over a period of eight years. A comparative analysis of the knowledge of the Nenets language in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug and the Nenets Autonomous Okrug is carried out. The problems and challenges currently facing in the language environment of the Nenets Autonomous Okrug are analyzed. Methods of forming a positive image of the Nenets language among young Nenets living in the Nenets Autonomous Okrug are proposed. An example of the developed calligraphy handwritings with brushes as a game method for learning the Nenets language among children and adolescents is given. The results of the creative competition among the youth of the Nenets Autonomous Okrug for the period October-December 2019 are analyzed. Finally, the conclusions on the competition and the project as a whole and new tasks for the continuation of the project are presented. 摘要
