To achieve it, we addressed the Chilean social outbreak occurred between 2019 and 2020 and the resulting constitutional process, both synchronic to the development of this research. The evaluation of the educational intervention was performed using a mixedmethods approach with the prevalence of a qualitative analysis. Hence, we utilized fieldnotes, questionnaires, semi-structured interviews and a discussion group. The data obtained was analyzed with qualitative content analysis and descriptive statistics. The results obtained reveal the potential of the treatment of current social problems to develop citizenship competences and interest in public issues.
