A number of technologies are being used to facilitate generation in small scale using micro-sources (MS) and the renewable energy resources (RES) such as solar, wind or hydro energy etc. In proposed realization a small scale microgrid is taken for the study with some residential loads that can be critical or non-critical (N.C) in nature, a battery with a controller, RES as solar photovoltaic system and main grid supply which is connected to the microgrid through a pole mounted transformer.
