Slough College of Technology

Management training for the non-industrial sector was Started by the writer at Slough College of Technology with some OcCaslonal Programmes for social workers in 1964. Courses for the Health sewice followed in January 1968, and for church leaders and executives of charities in 1969. After three successful series of courses, the church leader programmes were discontinued and are now run by an educational charity Leadership Development Group. The experiments mentioned below have been developed in courses run by the Group for head teachers, senior post-graduated university students, church leaders, etc. and have been used in Slough College management development Programmes for the Health Service.
