Of course, employees who think creatively are an asset to the company. This study aims to determine the effect of organizational culture on employee creativity through organizational commitment as a mediating variable for employees of Islamic Financial Institutions in Yogyakarta. This descriptive quantitative research uses a Likert scale in measuring the variables. Respondents in this study amounted to 219 employees who are in Islamic Financial Institutions in Yogyakarta. Data analysis in this study used a Partial Least Square (PLS) based Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) approach. The results showed that organizational culture has a positive effect on employee’s organizational commitment, organizational culture on employee creativity.
