Testing Electromagnetic Properties of Metal Density in Shielded Fabric
Shielded fabrics are a variant of smart fabrics with conductive properties capable of attenuating electromagnetic fields. Typical method for manufacturing such fabrics is combining common textile threads with metallic ones, a process which gives the fabric conductive properties. In this paper we are examining the effect of density of interwoven metal threads on fabrics’ electromagnetical properties.
