The sensor designed was a microwave oval spiral microstrip resonator. The designing process was undertaken in Sonnet project editor® which is freeware for microwave simulation. The simulation results verify that the resonant response of the sensor changes as the body impedance changes and hence may be used for continues non-invasive blood sugar monitoring.
